What's Cooking? Sesame Noodles

My friend gave me this recipe when I was in a cooking rut. I loved it and I have since shared it with others and gotten all positive feedback. It's quick, easy and quite tasty.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. linguini (1 box)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • sesame seeds
  • chopped scallions (for garnish)

Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions.
In a separate bowl mix together the sugar, sesame oil, and soy sauce. You can pour it right on to the noodles or wait to do it before you're ready to serve it. I chose to pour it on a few hours before serving so that the noodles could absorb the taste and color. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and scallions prior to serving. Serve cold or room temperature.
This is great for preparing in advance and tastes good leftover as well. I may add tofu in the future.
Enjoy!
